Screw The Mookie

I'm seriously considering not playing this tournament anymore. The number of final table bubbles I have experienced is insane, and I have yet to cash in the damn thing. Last night was another repeat experience with another freaking three-outer. I hope Full Tilt gets this crap out of its system before Sunday. I'm going to be severely pissed if I bubble the 100 Seat Guarantee because of some dumbass call and stupid luck.

UPDATE: Of course I will keep playing the Mookie. Just blowing off steam...

  • ugh....

nice playing with you 2nite.....been a while!

  • The only thing I would say is that a 3-outer before the flop is not all that crazy to lose to. I mean, it sucks and I am obviously the first person to barch about it on my blog when it happens, but when you say you lost to a 3-outer it makes it sound like there were just one or two cards left. JJ allin preflop vs. KT or whatever it was is not such a bad beat in the overall scheme of things. Let's put it this way, I saw about 45 beats worse than that just last night in the Mookie alone (24 of them occurring against me, for that matter).

That said, it did suck what happened to you on the final table bubble, sorry to see it. One of these days you will make the final table and then you can get sucked out on there instead of on the final table bubble. Gross.

  • It's not just the fact that I was up against KT. It's the fact that Iggy raised, I pushed all in, and this dumbass flat calls with KTo for at least half of his chips. Seriously, how the hell can you justify that?

  • Hah! Can't explain that one, Matt. I wouldn't even try it.

  • Um, your 99 took out my AA preflop...

  • There are a few differences in that situation, Jordan, and (in all honesty) I would rather I had lost that hand and taken a hit to my stack than to play for another hour and a half and get kicked in the nuts in a similar manner.

In the hand against you, I raised preflop, you were a short stack, and I pretty much had to call with action folded back to me. It was also mid-tourney and not a bubble situation. You can see from my above comment how this particular hand played out. Two entirely different animals, if you ask me, but, yes, I did suck out on you. :-)
