Wise words indeed! I love playing players who min raise and hate it when players make proper raises to deny draws!

ya minbetting is bad. minreraising is not so bad late in an MTT when the blinds are HUGE. example:call a preflop bet in the cutoff, preflop bettor c-bets a ragged flop, you minreraise him, he calls, he check folds the turn after your bet.it's surprising how many pots you can take down with that stupid little minreraise. i don't do it often but, when the blinds/antes get big and your heads up against someone who can fold, it's not a bad play.
