Poker Through the Eyes of an Amateur

I Understand Now!

Why is online poker bad/dangerous/{scary adjective}? It's like this, see. The internet is a series of tubes. And poker chips, see, well, if you bet poker chips then you can clog up the internet.

I can now understand why so many of our leaders have backed the ban of online poker. We must inform the masses!

  • Hey Matt, great posts on "So Close" man. I enjoyed reading them both. Especially since I actually went out in 10th place in the WWdN this week, the literal bubble. And I got busted there on a runner-runner straight with my K7 against KJ on a flop of KQ7. How that runner-runner straight happened to knock me out on the bubble and with no cash payment is still kind of a mystery to me. Sometimes "That's poker" just doesn't seem to cut it for me.

And your pokerstars 150 seat guaranteed story, that is just horrendous, especially following right up on the WWdN screwage from Tuesday. Sorry to hear it man. But keep at it, you are getting close and in my experience that is often a time to keep pushing and try to get as much time in at the tables while you're playing well and running good.
